Life in Tagbilaran is as slow as one could let it be.
By slow we mean, deliberate, unhurried. It is a city, but it isn’t bustling with urbanity.
One of the places to best celebrate the city’s leisurely lifestyle is by the Tagbilaran Port, the pier to locals, around sunset, chill with friends at one of the small eateries there, sip cold beer, and just watch the slow changing of the day’s colors, the daytime clearness being glazed over by the red-orange of sunset, and then finally, carefully shrouded by darkness, ever so gently, the nameless shades of blue taken over by the darker blues, until it’s just dark, Night.
A scene I rarely see. I usually see the sunrise after a night’s drinking spree. By the time buntag na fish feeding time, meaning magsuka na sa dagat! hahahahhaha
haha! you’re a fish lover man diay!
