Wake up to a beautiful morning with Brownbuds this Tuesday (July 29).
Or miss their performance in ABS-CBN’s Umagang Kay Ganda.
Where other Boholano bands (H20, Lucid Interval, etc.) have attempted and are yet to succeed, Bohol’s premiere reggae band will brave the murky waters of the Manila music scene in the hopes of making it big nationally.
With smart decisions, perseverance and the support of the Boholanos all over the world, especially the Manila-based, we just might see a Boholano make it big in the Pinoy banda scene.
The band is seething hot in Bohol and nearby provinces for churning out hits such as Byaheng Bohol, Wake Up, Iro, Olah and Karma. Their music has, in fact, been tapped by top TV shows like I-Witness, Trip na Trip and 100% Pinoy.
UPDATE!
The guesting was a blast. Brownbuds made us proud.
For those whose missed it, here’s the video from youtube uploaded by chestom:

but i watched the show, wa naman sila nibalik…
what do you mean, wala na mibalik tey?
Wew…another Loon’s pride!
hey darlene!!!
wow, saw ‘your site and your works! very nice!
i meant basin kausa ra sila nikanta, usually kun nay guest band ang UKG, all through-out the show gatukar sila…
mau ba, tey? pero murag ang consolation is that gihuman jud ang whole song, i guess…
that portion when they introduced themselves was like kulba… i hope they’re not gonna say something stupid…
(actually dapat ga-assign sila usa ra tigspeak which ok ra nga si elcid, but then ming-butt-in ang others mau na murag awkward…)
I guess brownbuds should booked there selves a gig this coming sinulog 2009 celebration.. i heard the sinulog’s theme will be more on reggae and Hawaiian music.. hehehe… sa SM na nko nadunggan…
