We prefer your thoughts on this site and Bohol, in general, but, hey, we wouldn’t mind hearing rants about the death of your favorite cat and what not, either!
hi. im sorry if this questions is inappropriate but since you mentioned about Tagbilaran, I was wondering if you know about a place called Casa Rey? Thanks. Please ignore this message if you find out a waste of time but thanks for reading anyway.
have a nice day.
yep, i know casa rey. though i haven’t been there. but i know of friends who’s been there more than once or twice. it was a party, in fact, with friends. (wild despedida party for expat friends) the foodback was good.
casa rey is a seaside pension house along vp inting st. (aka burgos st.) in tagbilaran city. it’s not the classiest place but it’s okay, i guess.
A republic of Bohol once existed during the Dagohoy rebellion. It had its own government. You have a useful site for all Bol-anons.
As researched and written by Mr. Jess Tirol in his column, the Republic of Bohol existed actually in between the Spanish and America era wherein during that time and space that was left by the Spanish, the Boholano people declared itself an independent state. I’ll try to get a copy of that particular column and share it to you.
